‘Save Richard O’Dwyer’ has more than 200,000 signatures – please add yours
A quick update: Jimmy Wales’ petition to stop the extradition of Richard O’Dwyer to the US has tipped 200,000 and is heading towards a quarter of a million.
This is an important issue. How can we ship a UK citizen to the US to face charges that we do not consider to be a crime in our own country?
Any one of us could be next. If the US were to decide that our legal occupation in the UK is against their wishes in the United States, we could end up in a US jail without ever doing anything wrong either in that country or this.
If you haven’t already signed, please do so now. We have to make the politicians understand that they are our servants; not the other way round.
